Video Editing
Editing is something I've always had a knack for. Tutorials for how to create visual effects in Pinnacle Studio Pro led to Film Riot and Corridor Digital tutorials for After Effects and Premiere naturally followed.
After ending my 12 year abusive relationship with Adobe, I found my editing forever-home in Davinci Resolve.
I learned how to edit before any other part of the video creation process. I got a Creation Station toy camera and green screen for Christmas one year and I taught myself how to make movies with its 144p resolution. Now I regularly cut and polish 4k short films and other videos for a living.
While attending Full Sail University I was surprised how despised the editing process of filmmaking seemed to be to my peers. Apparently I've always had a huge amount of patience which really helped me enjoy the long hours of messing with video timelines.
